Baked Camembert – cheese perfection

A Baked Camembert with garlic, fresh bread and cranberry sauce.

This has got to be up there as one of my favourite snacks and hands down my favourite cheese. It’s so quick to make and what could be a better snack than cheese, bread and garlic!

It’s really good for sharing too if you can bring yourself to let anyone else have some!

I said quick and easy so here goes…

Grab your Camembert, Garlic, fresh bread and any chutney you fancy, Onion chutney works well or cranberry sauce is always a winner.

Pre-heat your oven to 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4

Chop the garlic and push it into the lid of the Camembert. Then put in back in its box and drizzle with oil. On this go I added a little thyme on top too!

Cook for about 15/20 minutes or until it’s lovely and gooey.

Just add your choice of fresh bread, sauce and chutney.

Then all that’s left to do is dip into that gooey cheese and enjoy!
